This agreement covers your use of Jazz’s Lyric Snips Pro (the “Software”). By installing or using the Software, or by entering a license key, you agree to it.
License
When you buy the Software you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on the number of devices your license key allows. The Software is licensed, not sold.
Activation and internet connection
The Software needs an internet connection to activate your license key, and to re-check it from time to time (about once a week; it keeps working offline for a limited grace period between checks). When you activate, the Software sends your license key and a random device identifier to our server so we can count your devices. No other personal information is sent. You can deactivate a device from within the Software to free up an activation for another computer.
What you can’t do
- Share, resell, rent or publish the Software or your license key
- Remove or bypass the license key check
- Copy, modify or reverse engineer the Software, except where the law allows it despite this restriction
Keys that are shared or used beyond the allowed number of devices may be deactivated.
Your videos and content
You keep the rights to the videos you create with the Software. You are responsible for having the rights to the songs, lyrics, footage and other material you use in them.
Updates
We may release updates, but we are not obliged to provide any particular update or feature.
No warranty and limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in this agreement limits rights you have under laws that cannot be waived.
Ending the license
The license ends automatically if you break this agreement, and we may deactivate your key. You must then stop using the Software and delete your copies.
Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. See also our Terms of Sale.
